About Me

I am a software architect at Itemis in Stuttgart. Currently mainly interested in language engineering and how it can be used to allow domain experts to write software. Beside that I love to apply functional programming to real world problems often in languages like F#, OCaml or Haskell. I’m also passionated about sharing my knowledge and experience as a conference speaker. Before I joined Itemis, I have worked several years in domain of automation engineering and embedded devices where my main focus was software architecture and modeling.

I spend most of my spare time with kayaking, playing around with my arduino or other embedded boards to create awesome home automation gadgets, video games and photography.
